Marc deClaire was born on June 28, 1970 in the city of Fort Lauderdale Florida at Holy Cross Hospital.   He is one of six sons to George F. deClaire and Donna (Wartena) Yohanan. He is also the twin brother to Michael. Marc is a 5th generation deClaire. He was raised in Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale Florida.  Marc attended Henderson University, Bennett Elementary, Sunrise Middle and Fort Lauderdale High School. After high school, Marc was an auto mechanic for various businesses.  He also held many other diverse jobs.

 

Marc met Tonya Ann Lowe in 1993.  After a year of dating, they married on July 23, 1994 at Saint Gregory Catholic Church in Plantation Florida.  Tonya convinced Marc to pursue the noble profession of becoming a police officer. A few years later, Marc became a police officer for the North Palm Beach Police Department; (FL).  In 2008 Marc and Tonya relocated to Cookeville Tennessee. Marc continued his career in law enforcement, working for the White County Sheriff's Office for a year and then currently working for the Cookeville Police Department.  Marc enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons (Zachary & Zander).  Marc also enjoys time with his relatives who live in Florida.  Marc's hobbies include RV camping, cooking and genealogy research.
