Eleanor deClaire was born on October 21, 1918 to Benjamin and Madeline deClaire.   She was born in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.   Eleanor was sister to George, Robert, Cecile, Angela (AKA Marian) and Beatrice deClaire.

 

Eleanor was a longtime employee of the General Motors design staff and retired from General Motors.  Eleanor lived her entire life in the Detroit area.  

 

Eleanor died on June 16, 2014.  She was 95 years old.  Her funeral was attended by many friends and her relatives George, Joyce, Alceda, Marc, Tonya, Zachary, Michael, Terry, Haley, John (AKA "Jean Louie") deClaire.  Michelle and Terry Falahee.  Suzanne (deClaire) Pixley.
