Beatrice Genieve Fairweather (deClaire)
Beatrice deClaire was born in 1920 in Detroit to Madeline and Benjamin deClaire. She graduated from Saint Ambrose in Grosse Pointe. Beatrice was a "shopper," meaning a comparison shopper for Marshall-Field Department store. She graduated from Academy Sapho, a fashion school. She married George A. Fairweather in 1942, who served as a Ensign in the U.S. Navy.
Beatrice had two daughters, Elaine and Sue. She spent most of her adult life in Illinois and Delaware as her husband was a plant lay-out man for Chrysler Corpoation and remained in both states for many years. Beatrice died in 2007.
