Genvieve (deClaire) Livingston


Genvieve Mari deClaire was born on August 22, 1986 in Sarasota, Florida to George F. deClaire Jr. and Rosanna C. deClaire. She has one younger brother, Javier M. deClaire. Genvieve was raised in Bradenton, Florida and attended high school at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School. She was also a member of the Florida West Coast Symphony as a violinist for four years. During undergraduate study, she met John R. Livingston in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2005, and they married in the Grand Cayman Islands in 2007. Genvieve graduated with an Associate of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Florida.
Genvieve enlisted in the military in 2009, serving four years on active duty in the Army. She held the position of NCOIC of military schools and training under the logistics corps. She was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, and several other ribbons for her dedication to service in support of OIF VII, OIF IX-X, and Operation New Dawn. Genvieve was also recognized for her devotion to volunteering for the military Family Advocacy Program and several organizations that support suicide prevention and crisis management.
While on active duty, Genvieve completed her Master of Arts in Psychology. She is currently serving on reserve and attending doctoral school at The Georgia School of Professional Psychology for clinical neuropsychology. Her and her husband compete in nationwide triathlons during the summer months, and have recently relocated to Roswell, Georgia.
